Current forecasts

1st January 1970

This is the forecast for Lasham on 9th February 2010:

This forecast was last updated 08/02/10 19:19 GMT

Forecaster: David Masson

Synopsis: Several reasonable or good Southdowns ridge days ahead:
Tuesday is fairly cloudy with only weak broken thermals, if any, but 15kts+ NNE on the ridge and 20-25kys aloft.

A few sleet/snow showers.

Please see the Parham forecast at http://www.sgc1.org/Weather.jpg for Craigs view of the weather and info about whether their field is open.

Temperatures: Max/Min -> 4C / 0C, Dewpoint -> -1C

Wind strength/direction: 22 knots / 30 degrees

Cloud base/thermal top: 2000 feet

Thermal strength: n/a knots

Thermal start/finish: 1200/1500

Visibility: >21000 metres

Outlook: Wednesday 10th: similar

Thursday 11th: still NNE wind and strong enough for the ridge, but a good airmass for thermals as well - streeting and cloudbase 3000-4000ft?

Cloudy again after that, but maybe more ridge days

Other information: I will not bother forecasting for Wednesday, but if Thursday continues to look good for thermal and ridge then I will aim to do one for then.
